Escada Especially

Yesterday I popped into Boots on my lunch break. Some reason I went straight over to the perfume section. I spotted a big display which I was immediately drawn to simply because of the beautiful images of Bar Rafaeli who is the model they have used for the campaign.

I have only ever owned one other Escada perfume before which was Rockin Rio. My mom had brought it for me from Duty Free in Spain and I could never find it back in the UK.

I love the packing, its very simple and sleek and for me I'm always drawn to perfumes which are pale pink with gold simply because they look better on my dressing table!

The website describes this perfume as:

A luxurious and feminine scent, Especially Escada carries a joyful, spontaneous, and glamorous spirit. Inspired by the glistening scent of morning dew on a sparkling rose, Especially Escada says luxury, but in a modern and light-hearted way.

The fragrance opens with a sparkling top note of pear and combines with the exotic notes of ambrette seeds. A luxurious combination of rose and ylang ylang radiates a fresh and natural aura of floral joy and happiness. Light musky notes complete the scent, adding a subtle touch of femininity.

I would defiantly agree with the way the perfume has been descrided, its girly, romantic, light and floral, its my kind of perfume!

Here are the images used in the campaign!
You can buy this fragrance online at Boots
£45 50ml

Have you tried any Escada perfumes before? Let me know what you think if you have smelt Escada Especially!

Celeb Boutique

I have recently come accross this website after alot of hype on Twitter. I started to follow them and every day they would tweet pics of celebs and 'normal' girls wearing the dresses. After checking out the website I was shocked at how affordable they were. Although not cheap, for around £100 you can pick up a dress that has been seen on the red carpet and it's not often the celebs wear such affordable dresses.

This week I seen a picture of Katie Piper at the Daily Mail Inspirational Women of the Year Awards. Not only is she a huge inspiration to girls and women she looked amazing and I feel in love with her dress! Here she is wearing one of my favourite dresses off the celeb boutique website....

Here are a few more dresses off the website I have picked as my favourites!

The website also sell shoes and accessories so go check it out!

or follow them on twitter @celebboutique

Another big fan is Rochelle from the Saturdays. Here a few pics of her looking amazing! (boyfriend not included!)

Prada Candy

I never thought I could love another perfume as much as I love Chanel Chance but after smelling my friends sample spray of Prada Candy I knew it was just me! My boyfriend got me a bottle for Christmas and I've wore it ever since!

Whenever I wear it someone always asks what perfume I'm wearing, which I don't get with my other perfumes.

The website descride the sent as.....

An excessive fragrance with too much of everything. The new 'Prada style oriental' Eau de Parfum combines an overdose of Laotian Benzoin, a cocktail of musk and an explosion of Caramel, a truly unique scent. Spicy/oriental scent

I probably would never of tried this perfume from the description alone as the words spicy and oriental would of totally put me off as I usually go for sweet and fruity scents but some how this just works!

This is my first Prada perfume and I think it apeals to me more as it looks like a fun, girly, young fragrance although my mom has it and loves it too! I love the explosion of the shocking pink and gold packing and the unusual bottle.

The only downside really is the price. The large botttle 80ml is £71 so it's defo one to pop on your birthday list or not forgetting Valentines is approaching...........

Its sweet, sexy and good enough to eat!

What's your signiture sent?

Clarisonic Plus... 4 Week Review

Now I'm sure you've all seen or heard of one of these before! From the minute I saw them in Harrods last June I had to have one! I came home and did the usual....Google: Clarisonic Reviews 2039293 results.. After reading a good few I decided the good outweighed the bad so I put on my Christmas list!

And here it is! Thank you Santa (and thanks Mom for telling him!)

Christmas morning I couldn't wait to get at it, luckily my mom had done the whole 24 hour charge.....yes really it takes that long!!

My fisrt impression was I loved it! My skin felt super super clean and looked healthier, shinier and felt super soft. What's not to love!

Then one week later.....yep just in time for NYE I had my first breakout. Now usually when I get a spot I do the usual panic, pick, panic, conceal, make worse etc but as i'd read this was the norm I just thought right I gotta ride this out! And I did and within 2 days they were gone! They were mainly on my chin which for me is the only place I get spots anyway.

Now 4 weeks later i've had another tiny breakout on my chin but I'm sure this could also be hormonal!

I usually wash all my make up off first using my Liz Earle and Muslin cloth and then use one of the three Clarisonic cleansers that come with it. I always use the fastest speed and this just feels better for me and I use it twice straight after first cleanse, so 2 mins instead of  1 min!

I know I can't give a full review of this product as it's still early days but so far i'm loving using it. My pores don't seem smaller yet but generally my skin looks and feels great which is what we all want. I will do another review in a month or so but I'd love to know if anyone else is in the early stages of using their Clarisonic!

My First Post!

So here goes, my first post....

First I'll start with how I've arrived here making my own blog.....

Around a year ago I discovered Tanya Burr on YouTube and a whole world of make up, fashion and all things beauty related were unveiled!

From watching Tanya's videos I discoverd lots of other Youtubers I enjoy watching and lots of blogs I LOVE to read!

I have always been a 'product junkie' and would try most new things on the market and the one thing I love about blogging is that now I get to read reviews about products from real people that have tried them first!

So here goes, hope this is the first many! (promise they'll be more interesting that this!)
